Just picked up my 50" mower deck at the powder coater. Hope it serves as well as it look's, It turned out beautiful. After sandblasting it had a few pinholes by the dis-charge.
Brazed them up before coating, can not tell there was a problem. Now on to the front end.
Had to purchase new (used e-bay) spindles and new bushings. The previous owner must not have had a grease gun. Both sides DRY and worn out.Front tires dis mounted and wheels off to the powder coater. New four ply's waiting. The front wheel bearings seem fine, just need a re packing. Or should I install new one's while apart?

If it was mine and I could afford it I would put new ones in.

I would put new ones in as well. They can be hard to remove/install which means it's better to do that before you paint them in case you scratch up the rims. If you have a press it makes it a lot easier.
