Looks like the cross reference for the Deck Blade Timing Belt for a 48 inch deck on the MF1450 is incorrect.  The gates number listed is 6385.  The width on a 6385 belt is only about half the width of the correct belt.

Looks like the cross reference for the Deck Blade Timing Belt for a 48 inch deck on the MF1450 is incorrect.  The gates number listed is 6385.  The width on a 6385 belt is only about 20% as wide as the correct belt.

Thats the problem with using Auto stores and Gates cross referencing, its usually a crap shoot and they just list the closest size which may be the wrong width and length.

To be accurate you need to either get a genuine replacement or use an actual Lawn and Garden cross .

Do you have the part number for the belt you need I may be able to help you out get the right one or point you to someone who can

I also found some with the Massey OE number that had a 36" length.

That chart just saved my butt!  I measured my broken belt at 45" and the closest thing I found on the internet was 44" which I ordered from Gates.  Wrong!  When I found the chart I clicked the link to AI and found out there really is a 45".  Had to cancel the other order.  Thanks for the info!

I don't know if this will be of use but I have a couple of A&I belt numbers. I needed the pto drive belt for my MF12G with the Predator engine conversion as I had been running one an inch to long and it slipped now and then mowing. All I found locally at a reasonable price were in 2" even numbered increments. This conversion uses a 31" belt best. 30" belt would not let the cutting deck disengage. I also needed the pto to deck drive 50" belt so I ordered both from V-Belt supply in Sioux Falls, SD. $22 shipped for both belts.

13 HP Predator engine conversion PTO drive belt #A29K, 31" belt.

PTO to mower deck drive belt #A48K, 50" belt that fits 1975 MF12G

Not sure if anyone else had this issue or not but the loader tractor i just got had a&i belts on it with same part number as the actual massey. clutch wouldn't depress the whole way and tractor wouldn't stop. Put massey belts on off another tractor and problem solved. The a&i belts were too short.

Agco Parts give me Pt # 3021289M91 here. Use the Guest View to get to the Parts Book

That crosses to an A30 (1/2 x 32).

Seems to be a bit long to me but will double check when I get out to the shop.
