Thanks Brian! Those are some great old pics! It interesting to wonder why they chose the "operators" that they put on them for the pics. That last one appears to be a teenage girl...my guess would be to demonstrate "ease of operation".

That would be my guess.... In the manuals they always stated that "even the lady of the house or the kids" could operate a Bolens

One of Teresa's Women's magazines has a page of real neat old pics of the olden day's way of life. I always check that page out when she gets a new mag.

The funny thing is, is that if you look at the starter pulley, those tractors are not running. I'm not surprised though.
