Hey!

Finally got some time so I thought I'd check in.

I've been busy...a flat-bedding madman, hauling tractor bits about the city. It's a good job, but hasn't been leaving me much time for anything else. When I get done work, I come home and work on the house or do dishes or whatnot. Then I have a beer and fall asleep.

The house is mostly done for now though, at least until we start the bathroom. That's not to say that anything is actually finished, of course, it just means that things are livable and who needs fancy things like trim or paint anyway.

Also, my health seems to be improving a bit. My knees still suck, my hip aches, and my ankles swell, but driving a truck is way easier on them.

What I haven't been doing is tractorin'. Too cold to do dirt work, not enough snow to do anything with that, so the closest I get to driving a tractor is loading my truck with a forklift. That's something else I like about my job....most things are too heavy to lift, so we use forklifts.

Anyway, I hpe to be able to spend some more time here. I miss this place.

Glad to have you back with us. I hope to hear more from you. I'm not doing much due to the cold, either.

Hi Rev!
Great to hear from you. Was wondering how you have been.
Glad to hear you have a good job. Driving is definitely a nice job and flatbed work is a lot easier on the body than those floor loads in a van trailer.
Take care and have a nice Christmas.
