Got started last weekend on the sleeve hitch project for my cub 100. Got some cutting, bending, welding done. Used the hitch plate from the Cub as a model...locked it in my vise, heated it and bent around the hitch plate to make sure it fit the plate. I don't know for sure if it will be strong enough, but thought I would give it a try. The main frame is 2 1/4 x 1/4 bar stock. I will get some more pics up when I work on it again.

Nice sleeve hitch in the making. The ones you see online often have several cross braces in them, are you planning on some sort of bracing on yours?

Great start to a sleeve hitch, hope you add some gussets to make it substantial enough to take side loads.
