Hello all,

I posted these in the MTD forum but I thought maybe it would be ok to post them here too! My daughter came home with her boyfriend yesterday for the holidays. In an attempt to embarrass her I was digging thru pictures and ran across these. She will be 21 in June.
The MF8E is visible in the background. All dressed up and nowhere to go!--LOL

Merry Christmas---DAC

Looks like her Easter best!
It's unbelievable where the time goes. I hadn't realized how much time had passed in my "new" family until just recently. I've been getting super-critical of my girls boyfriend - just like a lot of dads do - and then it dawned on me that she's actually my step-daughter. That line had faded in time and now all the kids seem the same in my mind.

Isn't that fun to embarrass them like that?

Posted Image

Just this morning I noticed this picture on a picture tree the wife had done. Kyla had gotten stuck so it was Grandpa to the rescue! A bit of an Over Kill but she enjoyed it. She was 5 in the picture she is now 15. How fast they grow up!

Dean, even though it is not the same situation I can understand how the lines just seem to disappear. Kyla is like my daughter then a granddaughter. We have had her since she was about 3 months old.

Oh Kenny yes I still do have that tractor.

Sorry I didn't mean to hijack the thread, just ironic that I saw this picture this morning and then a few minutes later I see this thread.

Oh and the boy's had best stay away! :shoot3:

Oh yeah she's still my pretty little girl. Just now she lives closer to you than to me!
great old old tractor pics! thanks![/QUOTE

You're welcome!! She sure made that ugly old pile of----look much better than it really is--LOL
I Can wait for those days LOL, she must have laughed, those are great !
The actual embarrassment will happen tomorrow night but she has a great sense of humor!
Great pics, still got the tractor? LOL It's always fun digging them out and going back thru them.
Yes, KennyP I still have both of those tractors. I'm still trying to organize the pics to look at them with everyone. Here are most recent pics of both.

Well not yet---see above! Thanks!

That's the way it should be IMO! You have taken resposibility despite of them being step-kids and I'm sure they love you for it. So far her boyfriend seems cool---he's ambitious and comes from a family very involved with dirt track stock car racing like my wife and I so I can't be too critical of him------yet!!!

Yeah and thank-you

Ahh no hijack taken, man cool pic! Just adding to the subject. We still have to figure out how old she was in the pics. The office in my shop was far from finished and I'm thinkin' she was about 4 so that would be around 1995.

Since you still have the tractor, get her to pose for another pic with the tractor again. You'll enjoy them in the years to come.

Yes! Great idea. It sounds like it may be almost 50* on Christmas Day so maybe I can pull "Uncle Bill" out of the shed!

We didn't have time to find a similar costume but she agreed to pose again with the old MTD on Christmas Day. We still couldn't decide if she was 4 or 5 in the first pic.
