It dosent look to be in that bad of shape, The Fiberglass fender looks to be in decent shape as well which is a big plus. Usually they are pretty beat up.

The 1000 was made in 1965 only. AS far as I know Bolens never released any documentation on how many of each model were produced.

the 1000 was only made in 65 right? Yes
and how many did they make?

All of them! :D

Don't you just hate a smartass? :mad2:

As Brian said, I don't think Bolens ever released production figures. ....As a dealer, we never saw any info regarding serial numbers or quantity of units produced.

I am very interested in seeing pics of your CD-1 when you get it. .....I have a CD-1, but I'm missing the parts to hook it up. .....Any info you are willing to share is greatly appreciated!

so you just have the back half? theres a front counter weight and a pump that mounts like a hyd pump would on a tube frame that is used to lift the head up and down the rails. im pretty sure the CD1 for the tube frame is the same as a large frame except the mounting setup. dont worrie there will be plenty of pics. its on a 1050 right now. i will see if he will email me some detailed pics

I have the main part of the digger, and a PTO driven gearbox and some misc brackets. .....I do not have a counterweight box.

If the pump is the same as the Bolens tube-frame hydraulic lift kit, I have one of those.

I believe my CD-1 was from a Cub tractor, but don't know that for certain.
