I'm not sure of the rates in your area. You may be able to find a 3rd party auto shop to do the work at a reduced rate. I would give the local JD dealers a call and see if they will give you an estimate. The parts are not expensive and if you had an experienced mechanic it would not be a big job for them as long as the problem is only the bearing and seal.
