That's what I told the guys at the yard. 40 years ago, you had to literally give the steel away to get rid of it, as there was so little money paid for scrap back then.
Glad the prices are up! But then everything I have to buy with steel components has a higher price to pay out! Danged either way!

I just hauled a load of old equipment away from the farm a few weeks ago. The price here is down from what it had been earlier in the year. We were getting up to 15 cents a LB a while back, now we are down adn I got 11.5 cents a LB the other week. Still netted me $560 on this last haul.

It's always nice getting stuff cleaned up and even nicer when you can get some cash for it :D
