MF 10 wiring question

There is a pink wire that goes from the center pin of the regulator to the motor. What does that hook up to on the motor? The wiring diagram shows it going to the motor but I don't know where.

There should be a stamping on the terminal where it connects to the reg. That may help one of these guys figure it out for you.

The Pink wire that comes from the motor is the Ignition kill wire, goes from engine the key switch to ground to shut off the spark, no 12volts on that wire ever.

The Black or Red wire that comes from the center terminal on the regulator is DC output from the alternator.
I have 1 diagram that shows it as Red and another that shows it as Black, both from Massey Operator manuals.
