Well, the 1886 followed me home from Ft. Wayne.

The homemade FEL is a bit rougher than I'd like, but it should be good enough for what I'll use it for. I'm pretty sure that I'll end up changing the lift cylinders to double acting ones sometime in the future,

Tractor isn't a beauty queen, but the engine/trans seems to be strong. No smoke or oil leaks anywhere.

Seller was asking $900.00, I low balled him at $750.00, he came back with $800.00, and I loaded it on the trailer :D

I'd forgotten just how big those large frames are. Makes the 1256's look puny :smile1::smile1:

I'm going to be looking for either a 3-pt or sleeve hitch for it I think. I need something to put some weight on the back end, as it has nothing right now. I think I can get by this winter for moving some snow with out weight, but if I start moving dirt this next spring/summer, weight will be a must.

Looks like a good, serviceable, dependable machine. I'd say you got yourself a winner there.

OH!

I forgot to add. This is the FIRST Bolens tractor/attachment that I've bought that it DIDN'T rain when I brought it home.

Hope that isn't a bad omen :D

But maybe the "rain thing'" only applies to tube frames :D:D:D

Congrats on the new tractor. I think you got a good deal especially considering the front end loader.
