ok here you go, lights on, lights off. They are very bright. Best lights I have ever seen on a lawnmower. :smile1:
How bout that lawnmower seat? Any leads as to where to get nos? I had a guy on ebay try to sell me one but his seat looked like a cover with no stitching lins in it. Mine has foam under it and is pressed into the rim of the seat. Can these be fixed or do you take the old off and just use a red cover with foam under it. I would like to keep it as origianl as possible. Should i start a new thread with this topic?

Well....it's a start :smile1:

I like where they are mounted. I always thought the the ones mounted on the side of the hood gave them a bug eyed appearance.

As for the seat, maybe something like this?

The Seats for the 900 and 1000 models are near impossible to find NOS. I have never seen either one for sale.

I assume the seat that oldbuzzard posted is the one that you were looking at.
That seat is not correct, those went on the later 600's ,800, 650, 750

If the foam is in decent shape you can save it and just get some red vinyl covering and have someone sew it up for you

So i was right! That seat cover was not for the 900 model. My wife is into sewing and quilting. Wounder if she could make a covering to match? If she did a good job there seems to be a market out there for these. Would you guys make a cover with a tie down or can these seats be done up as original. Can the folded edge be opened up and a new vinly seat be pressed back in like the factory did? Do you have any pictures of how you did yours? My dad was over today, he is 80, loved the looks of the mower and wants to ride it a round when I get the new belts and pulley in it. Also found a 600 listed on craigslist ft. wayne area, Angola for $500.00 obo. 1963, 64 they said. Has a deck and snowthrower.

The foam still looks to be in good condition.
This is the seat I had done on my 900. I saved the pattern and eventually will buy some red vinyl to make it look more original.
It has a string that goes around the outer edges and you tie off in the back.

These are the best pics I could find of the seat, pay no attention to the horrible paint job the previous owner did LOL
