There was a operators manual on ebay for a cockshutt walker, dated 1949. Does anyone know who made them ?

It's probably a Blackhawk by the Ohio Cultivator Co. They were sold under the Co-op name also. I'll have to see if I can find it on ebay and check.

i was going to buy that but changed my mind. What it is , in order to sell stuff in Canada, Cockshutt's name was added to the makers. You see this in Sears/Simpson, and in England John Deere was sold as the Overtime tractor, to make the laws happy. There is another one one right now that for a Page tractor, being sold under another name combo.

I did see that it said Blackhawk on it, thought it was a spin off name, Cockshutt had a Blackhawk tractor in full size(really an Oliver). I should have tried to get that manual, it went cheap, and pretty darn interesting.
I worked for a White dealer for 20yrs, so I'm kinda into the molines, olivers, cockshutts and farquahars
