Hello all.
I purchased my first vintage lawn tractor today.
Problem is that I don't know anything about it!
I know it's old, has a Kohler rope pull engine, has tractor style rear tires, is chain driven and has a tag on it that says R. Herschel.
It has a sticker on the dash that says HercoX.....I think.

I cannot find anything like it on line.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Welcome. As the others have said, pics can help identify what you have. Look down in Site How-To's for pic posting. Seems to help lots of folks get the pic showing. We'll be watching if you need some extra help with things.

You're not the first guy to need a q or 2 answered to get pics up... don't worry about it.

If you click Reply then Advanced, you will see a slightly different screen than normal. the picture uploader is the "paperclip". Should be able to navigate from there, but please ask if you have further questions.

Welcome to GTtalk. Going by the pic in your avatar it looks like a stout little machine. Like mentioned serial number or any tag numbers will help and more(bigger) pics will help too.

No other posts from you show up, moderated or otherwise. Sometimes a post goes moderated if it's a long post, but otherwise they go on through.
