thought i would share some pics.

my 75 1614, my dad bought this about 5-6 years ago and we restored it. we experimented a lot with clear coat and it got all cracky and messed up, it should be done again now. over time i started using it then he slowly stopped and i was using it 95% of the time and he just mowed with it. after a while he started to reference it as mine and then one day i asked why and he said because it belonged to me, not him. i have 48 belly mower, snow plow, snow blower, moldboard plow and carry all .

this is my favorite pic of this one

my 71 1614, there was guy who moved and he sold this tractor to another guy who sold it to another guy.(my family knew them all) the last guy had it on craigslist for a long time and i emailed him in august about it then he stopped by my house and told me i could have it... for free! put a new coil on it and it ran perfect. i use it all the time and it earns its keep. i have no attachments for it but i do have the brackets to mount a belly mower.

this is when i first got it

you may hear my referance my neighbors 64 from time to time, she and her husband bought it new. her husband passed away in 91 and she is 82 years old and she still uses it to mow her 3 acres every week. it was at my house for some repairs and maintenance so i took some pics.

how it was when i started working on it

Nice group of PK's. I got exited when the second to last pic loaded, thought someone else had a Country Squire too. They do look a little similar with the hoods off.

Thanks for the nice Power King pictures. I'm also a member of MTF. I spend all my time here. I like the smaller forum and there are an awful lot of very nice folks here.

I am a member over there also, and on a couple other forums but spend most of my time here for the reasons mentioned above. The smaller size of the forum really helps. I think in 5 or 10 years this forum will be like the others because of member growth.

this forum is starting to grow on me too, i thought that since this site was smaller it wouldn't have that many replies very fast but the power king section is small over there too. also, with that many people on MTF there are some people i dont like, mainly because they underestimate me because im only 15. i hate nothing more than people underestimating me because i haven't come across something that i wasn't able to fix when i put my mind to it, if something doesn't work i can adapt something to make it work. thanks again guys
