Hi Well this is my 1st post. I have a ford 100 lawn tractor. It is model 53078-5845. I also have a ford made rota tiller attachment serial# 59724 1366. I am missing the bar linkage between the mower deck lifting arm and the rota-tiller. I am unable to mechanically lift the tiller. I hope someone can help with a picture, drawing with dimensions or where I might be able to get one. Thanks in advance!

sarah 005 (Medium.jpg Welcome....Is this an LGT100 or an earlier Ford100? Dont know if it matters or not. I have an LGT100 with a tiller. The lifting bar is just a flat bar with a hole in one end and a slot in the other end, so the tiller can jump up if it hits a rock or something. I would think a piece of chain would work just as well.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Ponco62 it is an earlier one. I think 1969. I saw on some forum that they thought it might have some kind of j bend in it.Ford 100.jpg

Well by now you probably have this all sorted... I reciently got a `69 120 with a tiller. There is a long flat bar shaped like a J for lifting it up. The previous owner even added a bar at the tiller end to hold up the tiller without using the J bar. I guess that the bar won't fit on with the mower deck attached. Let me know if you would like a pictrue.
