This appears to be a 68, I don't think the guys knows what it is.

I'm not very familiar with JD,but it looks to be mostly there,although well used.

Maynard, You are right, but they are hard to find, if it is a 68 140...

Brian, I agree with you. I too think it's a '68. The front bumper, the sunstand rear, K301 motor, all points to a '68. The only things I can see that aren't original, are the pto switch and the cigarette lighter. Missing a knob on the outer handle, and headlights too. I like the way he says the mower deck is in good shape, just needs new blades and spindles. I guess his idea of good shape, means no holes in the shell. LOL

No Troy, It is too far out of my way to even thing about getting. I do want to find a 68 one of these days.

I saw tonight, that this tractor is relisted. The starting bid is $100.00 (Reserve not met) I think the buy-it-now price was $375.00.

Seems kind of high for a tractor in that shape and a broken connecting rod. I don't mess with JD's either so I may be wrong.
