Brett,

I saw this last night, and thought about for a while. If it weren't for the holes and crack, I'd probably place a bid. There are some more out there, that will be in better shape, so I think I'll just wait for one of them to come along. Good luck to you if you bid on it!

I saved some of those pics as I have three old wheel barrows about that would make good clones.

Troy, I will definately pass on it. Figured somebody might be looking for one though.

Kenny, If you do make a clone, I would love to see how it turns out!

I was going to, had the tub, then I found a #30! It was in better shape than that one. Of course, I gave more for it too. Plus having it shipped halfway across the country!

After a paint job, it usually rides my #10 cart in parades;

But does get some use;

grnspot110, that cart looks great, especially behind that tractor. I'd like to have a tractor like that & the cart. Thanks.

Thanks guys! The #30 finished my collection of all nine of the older JD models. The tractor started out as a 69 model 60 JD with a blown replacement engine. ~~ grnspot

How rare are these? And approximately what time period were they manufactured? I wouldn't mind having one of those myself.

I would consider them rare. I believe they were made from 1980-1985 ish. (could be wrong on that)

Probably the only JD cart more rare is the illusive #8;

HPIM1929 - Copy.jpg

It has a handlebar for pushing & tractor hitch both, wood slat sides & spoked hard rubber tires. It was built pretty light weight, so most didn't survive.

Mine is actually a replica, made from a Toro cart.

Well, I went to $120.00 on it and got out. Would have been nice to restore, but one will come along in better shape anyway..

SOLD for $160.30, wow, that too much...

That's more than I would have paid. About $20.00 more than the selling price, and you should be able to find one in a lot better shape.

$20.00 more then I bid or more then it was worth. I thought $120.00 was really too much, but had a weak moment..:confuse:
