Yea... From what i read ...seems the acetylene built up between the sub-structure of the vehicle and the skins..then he used his power windows ...after driveing it out of his garage....He's a lucky man....B,

odd it wasn't clickable last time I viewed it but now the ops link is.

amazing pictures. had the guy died I would have nominated him for a Darwin award. who puts a tank of compressed and highly flammable gas inside an enclosed vehicle??

a small torch or a map gas torch like plumbers carry around is bad enough but acetylene? wow... dumb

From what I read, it sounded as though he didn't put a cap over the valve, either. He's lucky it didn't blow when he started it in the garage.
