My BIL Meangreen is always ragging about hitching his "Greens" back to back with one of my "Reds" and having a pull-off. So he was at my house the other day & mentioned it, so I told him to hop on the JD 212 I traded to TD&H and I hopped on my smallest red's, my Bush Hog T-63 tractor to give him a fair chance.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED!
DSC00624.jpg
Jerked the entire transaxle out from under it! Oh well, it had trans issues anyway, so makes the job faster!:bigrofl:

OK, so that's not quite the truth......I have traded the 212 to TD&H for a JD140 project that is going to Meangreen's place. I have the transaxle off because of a broken right axle. I have the axle installed & only have to put the gear oil in & the transaxle will be ready to put back under the 212. Brian will be picking up the 212 after Christmas & I'll have it ready.
Good thing the 212 was already broke, cause that big 6hp on my T-63 would have wreaked carnage to the poor Deere! :D

You almost had me on that one. Just couldn't imagine a JD rear end, able to withand the stress. The mower you mention...the T63...is it a self propelled push mower? :bigrofl:

I like them green but they ALL could add a little "junk to their trunk", if it were up to me...

Great intro. You had my attention.
So, once you get the oil in, are you going to have a real pull off?

Oh heck no, not with the 212. I don't wanna be putting yet another axle in it.....cause if I do a pull, it'd be with my MF1855, Diesel JB, or the Allis 720!

That was good. After looking at the picture I had to read the story.
Nice to see you still have your sense of humor after last night.

Glad you guys enjoyed it. Fred (meangreen) said something that made me think of doing this prank thread. I just finished bolting the transaxle back under the 212. Just working in the open at 34 degrees, but still enjoying it. It's come up a few degrees now though, so I may start sweating! It's 42 now.

628 garden.jpg Pretty good tale, good thing we werent pulling a blue one against that red thing, i wouldnt want to see the cows crying. Maybe we should consider a little pull off this summer at the Evansville show. What say you, my 6hp against yours?
