I have had this F-250 for over a year now,and it is a pretty good old truck .When I first got it I had to replace all of the glow plugs,because it wasn't starting right.So I have been told,these 7.3's need glow plugs even when it's warm out.I also replaced the glow plug relay and mechanical lift pump ,and it was starting great.Come cooler weather last fall the starter started dragging so I rebuilt that.

Well guys,we had a pretty bad wind and rain storm here the other day.I say bad because for here,it was quite bad.The winds were 100 km to 140km,which blew down trees,power poles,ripped roofs off homes.Thousands of people were left without power,mine was out for 37 hours,and some haven't got theirs back on yet.Parts of the province also had to deal with floods,although not where I am.We also got between 70mm and 100mm of rain.It is very unusual to have that kind of storm here,an I hope we don't ...

I decided this morning when I got up,that I would get a bit of a start on Christmas by starting to put up the lights around the house.I spent about one hour this morning,and got a pretty good start at it.Now maybe in the next day or so ,I can get the rest of them up,seeing as we have a day or two of good weather ahead.It is quite a chore putting them up,and it makes me wonder why I don't leave them up all year 'round.I guess that must be just my "laziness" talking.LOL

I have some neighbors,an elderly couple that I help out by doing things for them,and they decided a couple of weeks ago that they would like to have a small potting shed.He wanted to help in the construction but he has cancer and doesn't have much time left now,so I have been puttering away at it by myself in my spare time.I got the steel roofing on it last evening right after supper,then when I went home I heard the weather forecast about the strong winds.Boy I hope it doesn't tear that roofing ...

Hey guys and gals,as a lot of you know,when it comes to computers i'm not the smartest.I bought a digital camera a short while ago because I know how you all like pictures.Well being a bit computer challenged,I don't know how to put the pics on my computer or from there to this forum,so I have asked a neighbor of mine who is really good with computers to help me.He says he should be free this weekend show me how to do this.So maybe,just maybe you will get to see my stuff.

Well I finally got my lawns mowed,5 hours of bouncing around on the tractor is enough for one day.Then I had a lot of hand trimming to do because I have a lot trees.Sometimes I wish that I didn't have so many trees when it comes to trimming and picking up branches,although I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Well I spent most of the weekend cleaning up the yard,picking up all of the branches off of the lawns that had fallen over the winter.I have a lot of trees so there is always lots of branches.Then there is the dreaded raking of the rocks and gravel off of the lawns from plowing the driveways all winter,you would wonder how that happens when the yard is frozen.
