To everyone that voted I thank you...Kate is recovering at home now but in an upcoming issue (March) she intends to do a pictorial of the Torq. The Torq is really a great tractor however, I looked at the list of all 14 tractors in the running for Tractor of the Month and I didn't see a loser out there. I would have gladly have approached winter with any of those 14 in my garage! I kind of feel I may have had an unfair advantage due to the Torq being so rare...Once again I say thank you to GTTalk (George and Crew) for allowing me this privilege ... Tractor of the Month for Jan 12
Congrats Jim! Very worthy winner!

Congrats, nice tractor and a good story to go with it
Very nice, great find. Just goes to show they are out there!
Great story behind the decal....Never knew about that!
Of further interest, what is the name of the tune you used in the top video? Love that!! So dramatic!
:smile1: Nice tractor, your lucky you have snow to play in there is none here in Mass. and pretty much most of the north east is dry as a bone. Any one know a good snow dance?
Jbadman the song is Carmina Burana... ofortuna full rendition Carmina Burana ~ O Fortuna | Carl Orff ~ André Rieu - YouTube

No snow yet here (this year) 'Thank God' a very renowned Case collector 'showed me the light' and the Torq will hence forth be relegated to watching some very capable Ingersoll's do the snow duties from now on. I'll post up some pics and videos of the new setup...It is my obligation to protect this piece of Case history

Wow NUTCASE!!! That's quite a story there....I never knew you came so close to choosing another machine, what was it again, a FORD? Whew...you probably made the smartest choice. Thanks for sharing the details with us of how you came to own that great example, I don't know though....if it had been me I would have told you it was junk and you should have bought the FORD instead....right after i had you tell me where this torq was located....hahaha! Congrats of tractor of the month ole Buddy!!!!! Drew
I am sure...You knew the story already!!! Thanks pal, this was awesome last winter. I am also sure you know Jack P., and Steve G weren't real fond of me putting too many more hours on this machine but it'll start and run right now cut grass or blow snow. What you didn't mention however is how much time and resources I'd be putting into my new hobby...Thanks man, and thanks for hookin me up with Jack and Steve are the COLT CASE and INGERSOLL guys. And you know that Ford wasn't a bad tractor by any means --- but you told me that too...Thanks again!
